Bankers and the establishment British politicians have brought about the current economic climate of cuts and depression.
The closure of British manufacturing and British industries during the Thatcher, Blair and Brown years made Britain reliant on the financial services industry for its income. Instead of making things to sell, we based our economy on the service and banking industries.
When the credit crunch began our nation was hit hard as people could no longer get credit to buy the foreign commodities or services that were sold in Britain and which formed the basis of our economy.
For decades banks have been lending money to people who did not have the means to repay the debts they accrued. This process was compounded by the Bank of England printing money whose value was pegged on future economic expansion and loaning this out to people on demand as cheap credit.
Whilst the bankers grew rich on the interest, the nation became addicted to credit.
Britain is a beautiful country, a bright shop window that has nothing to sell. Britain must once more become a manufacturing nation. The list of British technological innovation and scientific invention was once the best in the world. We will create an economic climate that will encourage industry, work, and employment. If required we will put in place protective trade barriers.
We will introduce policies to encourage the purchase of British products, especially by government agencies.
We shall resurrect British heavy industry, shipbuilding and so forth, both for the Royal Navy and a new merchant marine fleet protected from piracy on the high seas, operated and staffed by British seamen.
Our defence industry will be supported enabling not only a strong defence force but also employment for millions.
British assets, industrial, geographical, mineral, and agricultural, are the heritage of the British people, multinational monopolies will be broken to ensure fair play to British products and services.
Legislation recently introduced to discriminate against white people in employment is racist. We will ensure that British jobs are taken whenever possible by British workers.
People will be employed on the basis of their experience and merit, not on political correctness.
We will increase taxation for those employers outsourcing work overseas. Those employing illegal workers will be arrested, prosecuted and imprisoned.
British jobs must be for British workers.
The economy should be managed for the benefit of the nation. The other parties are enslaved to laissez-faire globalism, which means that British workers must compete against those in China and India who work for as little as a pound a day.
Countries such as Japan, South Korea and Singapore have managed their economies to combine private enterprise competition with the national good, and these are the models the British Freedom Party would emulate in order to create a national industrial and manufacturing base that allows us to manufacture products for sale.
Personal tax is far too high. Billions of pounds can be slashed off government spending by inter alia:
- Ending the £9 billion foreign aid budget.
- Ending the £4.5 billion a year wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
- Ending the untold billions spent subsidising the immigration swindle and all its ancillary costs (benefits, court and jail services, counter-terrorism measures, the “race relations” industry, translation costs and a host of others).
- Ending the billions pumped into the EU swindle.
- Severely curtailing the tax-subsidised feeding frenzy at Westminster and other levels of government.
- Cutting back all unnecessary layers of government which have been artificially created by years of politically correct Labour and Tory rule.
