British Freedom is pleased to announce the formation of a Group in Peterborough. Alan O’Brien has very kindly stepped up to the mark and offered to become a local Party organiser.

Alan’s appointment is a further development for the party in Cambridgeshire — already, British Freedom has established a strong presence in that area.

British Freedom asked Alan to tell us a bit about himself, and he had this to say:

“I grew up in the good years of the 70s and 80s in a small seaside town. I left school and went straight to work and worked hard till I was medically retired at 38, following an operation that had gone wrong after a motorcycle accident I had earlier in life, when I broke my back in 4 places.

“I am a natural born fighter what with having had cancer at 24, and then having the aforementioned bike accident at 28. I fought my way through them, in total I have had 33 operations and I’m still here today, ready to fight for the good of our country.

“This country of ours was once the mightiest in the world but now we just roll over and let the European Union tear us up into pieces and overpower us with taxes. Our job crisis is not solely the immigrants’ fault, it’s the companies that know they can employ them for a fraction of the cost of the British workforce, while our government just sits back and lets it happen.

“Each and every day we let more and more immigrants through our borders who say they want asylum, then a week later they are stood in our streets saying how evil our troops are and that we will all burn in hell according to Allah. If you or I did that in their home country we would be stoned to death or beheaded. Why is this being allowed to happen?

“I want housing and jobs being offered to the people of Great Britain first, not the first immigrant and his family who have just walked off a ferry. NHS treatment going to the sick and those who have lived here at least 5 years, this is only fair and just.

“Britain is truly broken and we need to fix it fast. It’s down to people like you and me to fix it, the power is truly in our hands — we are a party built by the people, for the people. I want Peterborough to be a great city, a place where people from all over the country want to come and visit — not avoid because it is overrun and has lost its national identity. This is a city with many factories and most of the positions have been filled with cheap foreign labour. This has to be stopped. British jobs for our British workers instead of them stood in the dole queue waiting for handouts and barely managing to keep their family fed and a roof over their head.

“I know this won’t happen overnight, but if we are given a chance we can start repairing this broken country and make it strong again. I joined the British Freedom Party as their policies match what I want for this country: keeping our military out of pointless wars, bringing an end to NHS tourism, removing anyone from Britain who has taken up British citizenship and is found committing serious or violent crime with no chance of appeal. I see the British Freedom Party as the way forward for this country. I know it’s going be a hard fight, but every day I meet people who are fed up with the way this country is going, and the British Freedom Party is the way forward.”
