In their grim mission to rob children of all innnocence by thrusting them prematurely into the world of adult sexuality, Swiss educationists have devised an instructional kit called the Sex Box, a little trove of x-rated delights including wood and fabric models of human genitalia.

Under teacher supervision, playschoolers and primary school children will be encouraged to interact with the box’s contents and to explore their own bodily sensations, for example by massaging each other with warm sandbags.

According to English language newspaper The Local, authorities in Basel have been deluged with complaints from outraged parents. But still education officials continue distributing the materials, and are adamant that no child should be exempted from the lessons.

Normally, on hearing that some trusted adult had been showing their kid sexually explicit material and telling him/ her that “contacting body parts can be pleasurable”, most parents would be reaching for a baseball bat.

Why should sexual corruption of infants be acceptable just for being carried out in schools?
